Two Years and Counting
Two years ago today, a lovely doctor entered my hospital room and delivered a gift that I will never forget. An epidural. Sweet, sweet relief.
Not long after that, another doctor delivered an even more amazing gift, a gift that makes me smile every day, a gift that puts her arms around me in the middle of a bath and says, “I love you, JMo.” A gift that is currently lugging a Shrek doll nearly as big as her in and out of a new birthday tent.
Far better than an epidural, and that’s saying quite a lot.
